Partly for the squash, partly to work off the Christmas calories, a number of us gathered on the 29th for a King of the Court tournament.
Phase 1 was pool-based with players totalling up the points they won to determine to pool rankings. These rankings were converted into handicaps for a knockout phase to decide the final rankings. Each match was of fixed duration, point-per-rally scoring with everyone playing the same number of matches (6).
Congratulations to Rich Colman on becoming King of the Court and to runner-up George Montgomery.
Huge thanks also to Bob Cant & Rich for organising and running the tournament.
