Yate Squash Club held its AGM last week on 17 May and was able to celebrate 30% growth in membership over the previous 12 months. The picture shows members of the club at the AGM in the Lawns Pub, Yate.
The growth in members has been enabled with the help of promotional materials purchased with the support of a couple of grants from Avon Squash.
Our team won Division 5 in the local Bristol and District (BAD) Squash league and was promoted to Division 4.
Finally, the club recently started Junior Squash sessions that are held weekly on Sundays.
We’re looking forward to a further 12 months of success and growing the number of local squash players!!
